The Ritzy roll out the red carpet and welcome the happy couple and their guests, into this beautiful Grade II-listed cinema, which has been at the heart of vibrant Brixton since 1911.

The 350-seat auditorium, with its dazzling Edwardian plasterwork, has, for the last 100 years, been a sanctuary to some of the most romantic moments in cinema history. It is now ready to host your own magic moment, and bring your memories as a couple to life on the silver screen.

Upstairs at the Ritzy is the perfect venue to host a reception to remember. It has a well-stocked bar, a balcony with a spectacular view over Windrush square and is fully equipped to host a DJ or live band for your first dance.

The Ritzy is also licensed to hold small intimate weddings upstairs on Brixton’s best balcony overlooking Windrush Square. With natural light coming through the windowed front, it’s almost like a greenhouse wedding with all the convenience of an indoor venue.
